Mark Dotson's Winter Challenge picture

This is a picture sent to me by Mark Dotson, a rabid Vespa rider who rides all over with his family out in Fort Collins, Colorado. He recently picked up a Sprint Veloce from Moto Bravo for his wife and daughter to ride, and he has a cherry 62 Mark I GS (or so he tells me...still waiting for pictures of her!) in addition to the sharp looking red P in this picture ("It's an old one," he tells me.).

So when we started talking about scoots and such, and how he and his family go to rallies and everything, and his daughter has been on a scooter since she was two or three, I started whining about it being too cold for me to ride here in Atlanta. Mark pointed out that it gets mighty cold out there in Fort Collins too, but that is hardly enough to keep him from riding his Vespa. He just happened to have been riding that week, and sent me a picture to make me feel like a real pansy. Check out the 2 degrees on the thermometer behind him!

I guess Mark proves that you don't have to be crazy to drive a Vespa, but a little bit of crazy never hurt anyone!

Look out for Mark and all the Dotson's at rallies all over the Western states, or riding through Fort Collins on their vintage Vespas.

And bring the man another scarf, for crying out loud!
